Seth Workman

Hello and thank you for considering our firm to represent you. If you were not referred by one of our many satisfied clients or esteemed colleagues, allow me to share a little about myself to assist you in your quest for legal representation.

Straight out of high school, I served four years in the United States Marine Corps where honor, courage, and commitment became values I live by. In the Marine Corps, I accelerated to the rank of Sergeant (E-5) in three years and earned various medals, honors, and awards. Seeking intellectual challenges, however, I transitioned from the Marine Corps with an Honorable Discharge and enrolled in college. I then graduated from University of California, Irvine with a degree in Political Science. Thereafter, I graduated from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles with a juris doctorate degree. While going to law school, I worked as a superintendent at the Port of Los Angeles managing Long Shoremen.

After passing the Bar exam on the first attempt, I spent the first six years of my legal career defending doctors, nurses, hospitals, and other healthcare providers in complex civil litigation, including medical malpractice, elder abuse, employment law, and sexual abuse/harassment claims. My experience as a defense attorney included pre-trial work-up, trials, and appeals.

Having acquired a comprehensive understanding of handling civil litigation matters that are legally and factually complex, I found myself wanting more out of my profession. I then transitioned my focus to representing clients who have been harmed; which has proven to be far more morally satisfying. Coming from a very humble background, it is fulfilling to be the voice of those without a voice in the complex judicial system, particularly where my clients are almost always dealing with large insurance companies that have vast resources which they use to avoid providing full compensation.

On a more personal note, I am also the proud father of four boys, all of which are scholars and athletes. In my spare time, I am a head coach for Pop-Warner youth football. When we are not training, we enjoy hiking, camping, swimming, watching movies, and generally spending quality time together.

Regardless of your decision, we wish you the best of luck and thank you for your consideration.
